[Remote] Senior DevOps GCP Engineer

The role focuses on building, operating, and optimizing cloud infrastructure while improving platform reliability, security, and automation to enhance developer productivity.ResponsibilitiesManage and support production workloads running on Google Cloud PlatformDesign, implement, and maintain Kubernetes platforms using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support reliable application deliveryImplement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using TerraformMonitor, triage, and remediate security vulnerabilities across cloud infrastructure and applicationsRespond to operational and security incidents and drive root cause analysisDesign and maintain observability solutions including monitoring, logging, alerting, and tracingPartner with product engineering teams to troubleshoot application and infrastructure issuesAutomate operational processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and reliabilitySupport disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity requirementsParticipate in on-call rotations and production support activitiesLead post-incident reviews and implement preventative improvementsSkills10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform OperationsStrong hands-on experience operating production workloads in Google Cloud PlatformExperience designing, administering, and troubleshooting Kubernetes environments, preferably GKEStrong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelinesExperience implementing Infrastructure as Code using TerraformExperience integrating security scanning into CI/CD pipelines and enforcing quality and security gates prior to deploymentStrong understanding of software supply chain security, including artifact integrity, SBOMs, and secure dependency managementExperience with monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response practicesProgramming experience with Python (preferred) and familiarity with Go, KCL, or similar languagesAbility to collaborate closely with software engineering teams and support production workloadsExperience with GitLab CI/CD and GitOps workflowsExperience with Argo CDFamiliarity with Cloud Armor, Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP), and GCP security servicesExperience operating multi-cluster Kubernetes environmentsKnowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization practicesExperience with OpenTelemetry and modern observability frameworksExperience supporting high-traffic, customer-facing production platformsCompany OverviewINOPTRA | Intelligent.
