Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Cypress HCM is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS. The role involves developing Infrastructure as Code, building CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with various teams to support cloud-based applications and data pipelines.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS using services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, and BatchDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormationImplement intelligent storage lifecycle management for large-scale data environments to optimize cost and performanceBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and release processesMonitor system performance and reliability using tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or Splunk, ensuring high availability of cloud servicesSupport secure API connectivity and networking between AWS environments and external enterprise systemsImplement security best practices, including IAM management, encryption, and network controls to protect sensitive dataDeploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and KubernetesCollaborate with engineering, data, and platform teams to support cloud-based applications and data pipelinesSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering, primarily in AWS environmentsStrong experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably TerraformExperience supporting hybrid or multi-cloud environments, including AWS and AzureHands-on experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, EKS, or ECSExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOpsStrong understanding of cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and secrets managementProficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, or GoExperience working with large-scale data systems or regulated environments is a plusCompany OverviewCypress HCM is a staffing and recruiting company providing technology and creative recruiting solutions.
