[Remote] Senior Data Scientist - Forecasting

The Senior Data Scientist – Forecasting will design, develop, and deploy forecasting solutions to support critical business decisions across various sectors including Retail, CPG, and Supply Chain.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy time-series forecasting models including ARIMA, SARIMA, and ETSBuild machine-learning-based forecasting models using GBM, Random Forest, XGBoost, and LightGBMDevelop hierarchical and multi-level forecasting solutions across products, regions, and channelsPerform large-scale data extraction, transformation, and analysis using SQLPartner with supply chain, merchandising, planning, and business teams to understand forecasting requirementsTranslate business problems into analytical solutionsPresent model insights and recommendations to senior client stakeholdersLead workshops and forecasting strategy discussions with clientsImplement and operationalize models in cloud environmentsCollaborate with business stakeholders to translate demand planning requirements into scalable analytics solutionsSkills10+ years of experience in applied data science or advanced analytics5+ years of hands-on experience in demand planning, demand forecasting, or sales forecastingStrong domain experience in CPG, FMCG, retail, or similar industriesAdvanced proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, statsmodels)Strong SQL skills for large-scale data processingProven experience deploying models in cloud environments (Azure preferred)Company OverviewTiger Analytics offers data analytics and predictive modeling solutions for retail, social media, and online advertising sectors.
