[Remote] Senior Data and Digital Health Advisor, Consultant

They are seeking a Senior Data and Digital Health Advisor to support the implementation of the Translating Data for Implementation (Data.FI) project, which aims to enhance health information systems and conduct data analysis to inform health programming decisions.ResponsibilitiesWork with project teams to advise, plan, develop, coordinate, and implement the programmatic workplan related data systems; ensure quality implementation of activitiesLead data and digital health and digital public infrastructure (DPI) landscape analysis and readiness assessments to identify maturity, challenges, opportunities and provide recommendations across the enabling environment (policy, strategy, governance, infrastructure, architecture, applications and services)Assess workflow processes and data flows to support transition from paper to digital and develop effective communications and change management tactics and strategiesProvide technical expertise for data exchange and interoperability platform design, implementation and operations, including shared digital services such as identity and registries (individuals, facilities, providers, etc.)Facilitate governance through stakeholder consultations, developing operational plans, supporting coordination and leading meetings, workshops and other eventsWork with the Directors of Digital Systems, to ensure guidance on best practice and industry standards are communicated to project teams; guide staff on technical implementation ensuring adherence to standards, industry best practices and key strategic guidanceComplete other duties as assignedSkillsMaster's in Data Science, Information Systems or similar degree and 10+ years of relevant work experience; PhD preferredFluency in EnglishPrevious experience managing projects or activities that required high quality organizational, financial, or managerial skillsComprehensive understanding of information systems, primary health, Global Health Security and Early warning IndicatorsExperience developing information systems that integrate data from multiple data sources, along with the effective engagement of government ministries (or other relevant clients) responsible for the different data sourcesExperience supporting work implementing USG or other donor funded projectsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to train and coach staffExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriateProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareWorks with respect and dignity for all colleagues and contributes to a cooperative team working environmentAbility to work with a low level of supervision and as a part of a team when requiredAbility to travel and work in developing countries for extended periods of time if neededCompany OverviewClimate change.
