[Remote] Senior Data Analyst

The Senior Data Analyst will translate and program data into actionable insights, interface with business units, and promote effective data governance across the organization.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for identifying, understanding, acquiring, merging, and transforming data from a centralized data warehousePartner with business unit teams to understand their operational needs, recommend solutions, assure compliance with standardsTranslate data needs of the business and work with data engineers or architects to build processes and tools that help automate effective data delivery and reduce resource utilization and redundancyEngage in the overall data governance of the organization and take an active role in the development, documentation and on-going maintenance of a data governance operationDevelop effective auditing and validation processes between the source systems and the centralized data warehouse to assure accurate and timely availability of dataDevelops, tests, and delivers reports and extracts from the centralized data warehouse using appropriate BI toolsConstantly look for better ways of solving technical problems and designing the solution, not afraid of challenging the status quoIntegrates data from multiple sources (e.g., public datasets, Excel reports, data warehouse)Works with cross-functional, agile teams to build and deliver solutionsMentor and coach the broader Analytics Delivery teamBe hands on and engage in coding to help the team to develop his / her solution and solve all surfacing problems at handSkillsBachelors in Math, Business or Information Systems and 5 years' experience in a Business Analyst or Data Analyst role, preferably in a healthcare setting (required) or 7 years of related experience in lieu of degreeEpic Clarity Certification, including at least one data model (required)Epic Cogito Certification (required)BI tools (Tableau or Power BI)Basic understanding of statisticsAttention to detailCritical thinkingAbility to work with technical and non-technical stakeholdersTranslation of complex technical conceptsAgile work processContinuous learnerMicrosoft SuiteData warehousing conceptsRequirements translationSQL and data analysisMicrosoft Databricks Certification (preferred)Tableau Certification (preferred)Power BI Certification (preferred)Company OverviewNordic Global is an information technology company.
