[Remote] Senior Crypto/ Revenue Accountant

The Senior Crypto/ Revenue Accountant will support month-end close financial reporting for crypto-related activities and collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and process improvements.ResponsibilitiesSupport month-end close financial reporting for all crypto-related activity across the businessPerform month-end balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis across all revenue-related accountsValidate the completeness and accuracy of large transactional datasetsDesign, document, and implement accounting processes and procedures for new productsLead process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and control effectivenessSupport internal and external audits, including compliance and financial reporting requirementsSkills4+ years of accounting experience in at a crypto, fintech, banking, or payments companyComfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments where processes are still being builtDetail-oriented, curious, and comfortable asking hard questions to get to the right answerExperience working with large transactional datasetsExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various levels of the organizationExperience with SQL or data querying tools (BigQuery, Looker)Experience with Sage Intacct and/or Floqast is a plus, or other larger ERP systemsBenefitsCompetitive salary packageEquity package: We believe financial freedom starts with our employees, so all employees have ownership at MoonPayPay for performance equity bonus: Those who drive outsized outcomes receive outsized rewardsMoonshot award.
