[Remote] Senior Corporate Counsel, Global Legal Commercial Contracts (m/f/d)

They are seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to provide comprehensive support in global client contracts, focusing on complex commercial leases and service agreements while managing risk and ensuring compliance.ResponsibilitiesStructure, review and negotiate commercial agreements for the business across all regions, including commercial lease documents, master service agreements, sales orders, change orders and other agreements involving a variety of complex and evolving issuesManage risk and ensure business and compliance needs are accurately reflected in client agreement(s)Conduct analysis of various client contractual issues, including terms across multiple regions, clients and contractsRespond timely to inquiries from all departments regarding contractual obligations and commitments; ensure that contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptlyAdvise company management on complex client matters, using persuasion in delivering concise and clear messages, with the ability to adapt style to differing audiences on difficult matters, including potential risks in contractual, regulatory, compliance, financial, and legal areasInteract professionally with clients, internal NTT GDC departments and NTT corporate affiliates throughout the worldRespond promptly to the demands of multiple internal client groupsAssist with the development and implementation of contract procedures and templates to improve operational efficiencySkillsMultiple years of relevant legal experience with a mix of corporate law firm and in-house workData Center industry, Real Estate or technology industry experience a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBoth written and verbal fluency in English are requiredSeasoned, experienced professional; with significant experience in client contracts and/or commercial leasingApplies advanced wide-ranging experience and in-depth professional knowledge to develop, resolve and assess a wide range of complex issues in creative ways and suggests variations in approach with consultation at times from senior legal managerContributes to development of company objectives and principles to achieve goals in creative and effective waysRequires conceptual thinking to understand complex issues and their implicationsStrong experience in global commercial contracting, including drafting, understanding terms, and negotiatingDeveloped business acumen, and the ability to combine legal and business analysis and judgment in a practical mannerFrequently advises key people outside own area of expertise on complex matters, using persuasion in delivering messages, with the ability to adapt style to differing audiences and often advises others on difficult mattersWork is done independently in areas of core competency and is reviewed at critical pointsWork effectively under pressure and respond to urgent situations as needed, prioritizing multiple business objectives, and meeting deadlines and milestones for projects assignedLLB Bachelor of LawFully qualified lawyerUS candidates: Juris Doctorate degree or equivalentBenefitsA monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device.All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.Employees receive paid time-off, medical, dental, and vision benefits, life and supplemental insurance, short-term and long-term disability, flexible spending account, and 401k retirement plan to create a rich Total Rewards package.Company OverviewNTT Global Data Centers is a division of NTT DATA.
