[Remote] Senior Consultant, Training Strategy Lead

The Senior Consultant, Training Strategy Lead is responsible for developing and leading the training strategy for a large-scale statewide technology modernization initiative, ensuring effective training delivery to various user groups.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and Lead Training Strategy: Define and maintain the overall training strategy, framework, roadmap, and approach to support successful use of Metrik across usersAssess Training Needs: Partner with project leadership, subject matter experts, business team, and other stakeholders to identify training , learner personas, role-based requirements, and readiness considerationsDesign Scalable Training Approaches: Recommend and implement training delivery models, learning pathways, training environments, and support structures that effectively serve diverse user groups across the state. needsDefine Training Deliverables: Determine the appropriate mix of training materials and support resources (e.g., instructor-led training, e-learning modules, job aids, reference guides, videos, FAQs, office hours etc.) to support successful system useLead Training Planning & Coordination: Partner with business, change management, rollout, and implementation teams to identify training priorities, define learning objectives, establish training timelines, and coordinate training-related activities across the projectCoordinate Training Content Development: Collaborate with writers, subject matter experts, trainers, and other project resources to develop and maintain training materials, ensuring content aligns with project goals, user needs, and system functionalityCoordinate Training Implementation: Support and coordinate the execution of training activities, including scheduling, communications, trainer preparation, pilot support, office hours, training logistics, and post-launch learning opportunitiesPartner on Organizational Change Management Efforts: Collaborate closely with change management, communications, stakeholder engagement, and rollout teams to align training activities with broader project readiness effortsMeasure Training Effectiveness: Establish and monitor training success metrics, learner feedback mechanisms, participation tracking, and other indicators to continuously improve training outcomesSupport Sustainability: Develop recommendations and processes for ongoing training, onboarding, knowledge transfer, and long-term support beyond initial implementationServe as a Trusted Advisor: Provide strategic guidance to project leadership and stakeholders regarding training best practices, risks, dependencies, and training considerations throughout the project lifecycleSkillsMinimum of 6 years relevant experience required, including 4 or more years in a consulting firm environmentExperience leading training strategy and implementation efforts for large-scale technology, data, or enterprise system implementationsMinimum 5 years client-facing experience, including 2 or more in project leadership rolesExperience leading complex training initiatives across multiple stakeholder groupsPeople management experience preferredMaster's degree in Public Health, Education, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Communications, or a related fieldAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced consulting environmentDemonstrated success developing and executing training strategies for technology modernization, digital transformation, or large-scale system implementation projects involving multiple organizations, agencies, or user groupsLead training efforts from strategy through implementation, including training needs assessment, curriculum planning, delivery coordination, and post-launch supportDevelop role-based learning programs and coordinate the creation of training materials with subject matter experts and cross-functional teamsStrong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologiesExcellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to translate complex business and technical
