[Remote] Senior Consultant- Outsourcing Governance & Regulatory Oversight
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. IFG - International Financial Group is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to support the establishment of a new regulated entity by designing and implementing a robust outsourcing operations, governance, and performance framework. This role focuses on regulatory-compliant outsourcing governance, including process ownership models, KPI/SLA frameworks, and centralized performance reporting.
Responsibilities
⢠Design and document enterprise outsourcing governance frameworks aligned with European financial regulations (EBA, CBI)
⢠Define process ownership vs execution models for regulated outsourcing arrangements
⢠Develop RACI matrices for Level 2 and Level 3 enterprise processes across internally delivered and outsourced services
⢠Lead discovery sessions with process owners, SMEs, and leadership to identify critical processes, controls, and dependencies
⢠Produce Visio-style process maps (swimlanes, data flows, RACIs) for approximately: 20 Level 2 processes, 60 Level 3 processes
⢠Ensure all documentation meets regulatory, audit, and operational standards
⢠Evaluate and rationalize a broad KPI catalog to identify 30ā40 critical KPIs/SLAs
⢠Define KPI and SLA specifications, including: Measurement logic, Thresholds, Data sources, Reporting cadence
⢠Support the creation of a centralized performance dashboard aligned with regulatory and business expectations
⢠Partner with engineering and BI teams to develop or refine the Business Requirements Document (BRD) for KPI reporting
⢠Assess data availability and quality; identify gaps and propose interim manual reporting solutions where automation is not yet available
⢠Collaborate across COO operations, compliance, legal, HR, engineering, procurement, and business operations
⢠Facilitate workshops, drive alignment, and escalate risks or blockers as needed
⢠Prepare leadership-ready materials summarizing findings, risks, dependencies, and recommended decisions
Skills
⢠10+ years experience within European regulated financial services (payments, EMI, banking)
⢠Deep familiarity with EBA Outsourcing Guidelines
⢠Deep familiarity with CBI Outsourcing Requirements
⢠Regulatory governance and operational resilience expectations
⢠Proven experience designing governance models for regulated intra-group or third-party outsourcing
⢠Strong understanding of process ownership, oversight, and accountability under regulatory rules
⢠Expert in Visio, BPMN, swimlane diagrams
⢠Ability to decompose complex services into Level 2 and Level 3 processes
⢠Experience defining ownership models across multiple enterprise functions
⢠Experience designing and documenting KPI and SLA definitions
⢠Familiarity with performance dashboards and reporting principles
⢠Strong documentation skills translating business needs into technical requirements
⢠Experience working with BI, data engineering, and PMO teams
⢠Ability to identify data gaps and validate measurement logic
⢠Comfortable designing interim manual reporting solutions
⢠Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills
⢠Ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and drive accountability
