PCG Talent Network is representing a multi-billion-dollar global financial services leader seeking a Senior Commission & Broker Payables Analyst for a 100% remote, 6-month contract. The role focuses on managing end-to-end commission and broker payables, ensuring accurate payments, and collaborating with finance teams in a high-volume environment.ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end producer and broker payables, including commission calculation, validation, and timely electronic or check disbursementsReconcile commission statements, liability accounts, and related GL activity; investigate discrepancies across reports, payroll, and source dataAnalyze and validate producer statements, commission reports, and payroll outputs; maintain and update commission structures and legacy dataEnsure accurate, on-time payments while meeting daily, weekly, and mid-month deadlinesCollaborate with broker partners, payroll, and internal teams to resolve inquiries and streamline payment processesSupport month-end close activities, interpreting GL entries, reconciling accounts, and explaining fluctuationsIdentify process improvement opportunities to enhance reporting accuracy, operational efficiency, and internal controlsApply a strong analytical mindset to investigate variances, identify root causes, and escalate issues as neededStay current on industry regulations, GAAP principles, and best practices in commission accountingSkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred5+ years of experience in commission accounting and broker payables, ideally in financial servicesStrong knowledge of GAAP, GL operations, account reconciliations, and variance analysisExperience with Epicor ERP or a similar ERP systemProficient Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data validation, reporting)Detail-oriented, organized, and accurate, with strong prioritization skills to manage competing tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentExcellent business acumen, verbal & writtenCompany OverviewThe PCG Talent team has served clients and candidates for over 20 years across finance, accounting, HR, sales/marketing, legal, and IT roles.
