They are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to architect and operate the platform that enables responsible and reliable AI innovation at scale.ResponsibilitiesSupport cloud platform architecture, implementation, and continuous improvement initiativesTranslate high-level architecture decisions into practical engineering tasks and delivery plansDrive improvements across platform patterns including networking, IAM, security, observability, automation, and deployment workflowsTroubleshoot and escalate complex cloud operations issues, providing senior technical guidance and solutionsMature runbooks, monitoring strategies, alerting frameworks, support handoffs, and operational documentationIdentify platform gaps, technical debt, architectural risks, and prioritize improvement opportunitiesCollaborate with product teams across multiple projects and business units to align cloud infrastructure with application needsMentor engineers on cloud architecture, DevOps best practices, and operational excellenceWork closely with Google Cloud, internal infrastructure teams, and external partners to optimize platform capabilitiesLead incident response and post-incident reviews for cloud platform issuesEstablish and enforce cloud governance, compliance, and security standardsSkillsStrong experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructureHands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform in enterprise environmentsExpert knowledge of GCP services including compute, networking, storage, IAM, Cloud SQL, and observabilityStrong proficiency in infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar toolsDeep experience with CI/CD platforms (GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Helm) and deployment automationDeep experience with Kubernetes/ GKE, container orchestration, load balancing, and networkingStrong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, Go, or similar)Experience supporting mission-critical production cloud workloads at scaleSolid understanding of cloud security, compliance frameworks, and IAM best practicesExperience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutionsProven track record of mentoring engineers and driving architectural standardsExcellent communication and documentation skills with ability to work across teamsExperience with incident management, troubleshooting, and escalation handlingCompany OverviewSuzega builds subscription-based AI innovation systems for enterprises using expert pods, agentic platforms, and accelerator technology.
