[Remote] Senior Cloud Engineer - Google Workspace

The Senior Cloud Engineer will serve as a subject matter expert in IAM, developing and implementing policies and solutions for managing user identities and permissions in cloud environments.ResponsibilitiesServes as a subject matter expert within the team, and will provide coaching, guidance and support to colleagues to enhance team performance and developmentDevelop and implement IAM policies, roles, and access controls in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)Architect scalable and secure IAM solutions to manage user identities and permissionsIntegrate IAM solutions with on-premises and cloud-based applicationsMange user identities, entitlements and access permissions across multiple cloud and on-premise platformsMonitor IAM systems for security incidents, performance issues, and compliance violationsConduct audits and reviews of IAM policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulationsAutomate IAM processes using IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation or ARM templatesImplement Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and other IAM solutions to enhance securityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions into new and existing projectsProvide technical support and guidance to internal teams on IAM-related issues and best practicesStay updated with the latest IAM trends, technologies and security threats to proactively address potential riskSkillsMinimum of five (5) years of experience in cloud engineering with a focus in IAMProven experience with IAM solutions in AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud PlatformHands-on experience with IAM tools and technologies such as AWS IAM, Azure AD, Google Cloud IAM, Okta, etcRelevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security EngineerCompany OverviewYoung Life is a world class organization for adolescents.
