The role involves managing project delivery, mentoring team members, and ensuring successful stakeholder engagement while adhering to budget and timelines.ResponsibilitiesOwns resolution and decision-making for medium to complex studies, applying senior judgement to navigate ambiguity, competing priorities, and delivery riskUses recommended portfolio, program, departmental, and project processes and workflows for planning, scheduling, and trackingEnsures that robust, realistic project plans are maintained and that regular, accurate communication is provided to stakeholders at all levelsEnsures that quality reviews occur on schedule and according to procedureLeads change control procedure and ensures that project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale and resource budgets are signed offLeads cross-functional stakeholders to align on project scope, priorities, timelines, and dependencies, driving actions to keep delivery on trackWhere applicable manages and mentors a small number of Associate Project Managers and/or Project Managers by setting clear performance expectations and objectives, providing regular coaching and feedback and ensuring priorities and workload are balanced to meet project timelines and quality standardsLeads in the assessment, development, documentation and implementation of changes based on requests for changeContribute to the improvement of policies and procedures by identifying gaps, risks, or inefficiencies at study level and partnering with cross functional stakeholders to drive practical changeIdentifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the projectRegularly reviews the study status reports which may include status of site qualification, image processing, result reporting, and query management across all supported projects, and follow up with the applicable internal groups or imaging centers as neededProvides oversight and coordination to resolve data reconciliation findings, partnering with Data Management, SciMed and Operations to drive timely, compliant resolutionDrives proactive data quality monitoring and governance, ensuring outlier and trend reports are reviewed, actions are assigned, and follow-up is completedLeads stakeholder engagement and communication plans for assigned projects/programs, including senior client stakeholders and internal leadership when applicableLeads resolution of complex study-specific problems and escalations, coordinating corrective and preventive actions, capturing lessons learned, and driving sustainable improvementsProvides a high level of customer service with timely communication and support, influencing outcomes through effective negotiation, expectation setting, and conflict managementOwns end to end financial stewardship of assigned studies, including study budget tracking, revenue recognition accuracy, and forecast integrity, in partnership with financeMaintains an accurate, up to date study budget, ensuring alignment between contracted scope, approved change orders (CIS), and actual delivery activitiesProactively identifies financial risks and variance, including work at risk, margin erosion, or forecast gaps, and escalates appropriately with recommended mitigation actionsDevelops and maintains forward looking study forecasts, including revenue, effort, and key cost drivers, updating forecasts on a monthly basisManages financial resources effectively, ensuring budgetary compliance and achieving financial targetsCarries out any other reasonable duties as requested by managementSkillsStrong proven experience in medical imaging and/or clinical development within the life sciences industry, including leadership of medium to high complexity, client-facing studies or programsSignificant experience using tools (e.g., MS Office) to communicate complex project status, risks, financials and decisions to internal and external stakeholders, including senior audiencesBachelor's degree in biological science, health science, technology or equivalent education with relevant experienceExperience of mentoring and leading others, a plusEnglish: FluentThis role is remote- US.
