The role involves identifying inefficiencies, generating reports, and improving revenue cycle coding and documentation practices through data analytics.ResponsibilitiesIdentifying inefficienciesGenerating reportsCollaborating with mid revenue cycles teamsAnalyze and improve the revenue cycle coding and documentation practices through data analyticsData mining to assist in identifying coding gaps, coding volumes and documentation opportunities for both the physician and hospital coding and documentation education teams and LPG providersSkillsBachelors degree in computer science, accounting, healthcare/administration or another related field requiredMinimum of 3 years experience in patient accounting, finance, revenue cycle, or another analytical positionProficient knowledge of Epic and SolventumUse of Microsoft products inclusive of Power BI, Excel, Epic Slicer Dicer, and Microsoft AccessSelf-starter with strong ambition to investigate and researchStrong analytical personality, process flow, root cause analysisExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsCertified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or data analytics certification or equivalent is preferredKnowledge of revenue cycle stream inclusive of coding and documentation regulatory practices is preferredCompany OverviewLee Health is a wooden building was the beginning of community health care in our area.
