As a Senior Medical Editor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and quality of scientific documents and publications related to clinical trials, while also mentoring colleagues in editorial practices.ResponsibilitiesEditing and proofreading a wide range of scientific documents, including clinical study reports, regulatory submissions, publications, and presentations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and consistencyCollaborating with medical writers to improve the clarity and effectiveness of scientific content, providing guidance on structure, style, and languageEnsuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, guidelines, and best practices in medical writing and publishingProviding mentorship and training to junior editors and medical writers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in scientific communicationConducting thorough fact-checking and verification of data to ensure accuracy and reliability of published materialsStaying updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in medical writing and editing practicesParticipating in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to document editing and quality controlSkillsBachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or communications-related fieldExtensive experience in medical editing, with a strong understanding of clinical research and regulatory documentation.
