[Remote] Senior Clinical Affairs Nurse – Product & Risk (12-month contract)

They are seeking a Senior Clinical Affairs Nurse – Product & Risk to serve as a key clinical subject matter expert within their product and AI teams, ensuring product development aligns with clinical best practices and regulatory standards.ResponsibilitiesPerform first-line clinical risk and workflow assessments for:Product enhancements and new featuresAI-enabled documentation and clinical workflowsMedication management, assessments, and other high-risk modulesIdentify potential clinical safety risks and escalate early where appropriateSupport intake triage of Clinical Affairs requests across tools (e.g., Aha, Jira, escalations)Prioritize requests based on clinical risk, product impact, and urgencyRepresent Clinical Affairs in recurring product, engineering, and operational meetingsPartner closely with Product, AI/Engineering, Regulatory, and Clinical teamsDraft clinical risk summaries, validation notes, and supporting documentationContribute to audit readiness and governance documentationEnsure alignment with clinical standards and responsible AI practicesBy providing hands-on clinical expertise, you will also enable senior leadership to focus on:Strategic clinical direction and executive guidanceRegulatory positioning and external credibilityAdvancing AI governance and future-state clinical frameworksSkillsActive Registered Nurse (RN) designationSignificant clinical experience (Senior-level; long-term/post-acute care strongly preferred)Experience reviewing or supporting clinical workflows, documentation, or risk assessmentsAbility to interpret and translate clinical requirements into product or technical contextsStrong cross-functional collaboration and communication skillsMaster of Science in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent advanced educationExperience working with digital health products, EHRs, or healthcare SaaS platformsExposure to AI/ML-enabled clinical tools or documentation workflowsFamiliarity with clinical governance, regulatory, or audit processesCompany OverviewPointClickCare develops web-based products and services to help long-term care providers manage the complete lifecycle of resident care.
