[Remote] Senior C++ Engineer (Leading Quant Trading Firm)

Radley James is working with a leading global quantitative trading firm seeking strong C++ engineers to join their core trading technology team. The role involves designing and optimizing highly performant, fault-tolerant distributed systems for live trading and research infrastructure, with a focus on low-latency market data and order execution. Engineers will collaborate closely with traders and researchers to build systems where microseconds matter.
Responsibilities
• Low-latency market data and order execution infrastructure across multiple asset classes
• Performance profiling and optimisation of production trading systems
• Fault-tolerant distributed architecture
• Systems interfacing with specialist hardware (e.g. FPGAs)
• Scalable research and client-facing platforms
Skills
• Strong professional C++ experience
• Solid understanding of Linux/UNIX, networking, and system performance
• Excellent design, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate independently on complex engineering challenges
