[Remote] Senior Business Systems Engineer

Trident Consulting is seeking a Senior Business Systems Engineer to help build, maintain, and troubleshoot the company's rapidly expanding infrastructure. The ideal candidate will work alongside other engineers to ensure high levels of performance and manage problems that arise, while also designing and developing integrations across enterprise platforms.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain integrations across enterprise platforms including ERP, procurement, tax, and expense systemsSupport and enhance Oracle Fusion ERP finance modules such as AP, AR, GL, and ProcurementBuild APIs, middleware services, and data pipelines to improve system connectivity and reliabilityPartner closely with Finance, Accounting, IT, and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutionsDrive automation initiatives for finance workflows including reconciliations, approvals, and close processesTroubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixesContribute to continuous improvement of enterprise systems architecture and operational efficiencyParticipate in system upgrades, testing, deployment, and documentation activitiesSkills5–8 years of experience in Business Systems Engineering, ERP development, or enterprise application engineeringStrong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion ERP / Oracle ERP CloudSolid understanding of finance and accounting processes such as Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R), and Order-to-Cash (O2C)Experience building REST APIs and enterprise integrationsProficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or JavaExperience working with middleware and integration platformsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsAbility to independently manage projects and collaborate across cross-functional teamsExperience with workflow automation tools or RPA platformsExposure to ETL/data integration toolsKnowledge of enterprise security and governance best practicesExperience in high-growth or large-scale technology environmentsCompany OverviewTrident Consulting expertise in big data, AI & analytics, cloud, infrastructure, ERP, Java frameworks and technologies, Engineering and R&D.
