The role involves gathering business requirements, analyzing processes, and collaborating with IT teams to deliver effective technology solutions.ResponsibilitiesGather, analyze, and document business and functional requirementsConduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process reviewsPerform data analysis, data mapping, and create visualization/reporting artifactsTranslate business requirements into detailed functional specificationsConduct gap analysis and collaborate with developers and architects on solution designSupport project estimation, business case development, and process improvementsEvaluate system enhancements, vendor releases, and business impactsCreate process flows, workflows, use cases, and documentationSupport Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project environmentsMentor junior analysts and assist with incident/problem analysisParticipate in on-call and after-hours support as neededSkills7–10+ years of Business Systems Analysis experienceStrong background in Finance, SAP S/4HANA, and data visualization toolsExperience working on complex IT projects with development teamsStrong data analysis, SQL, documentation, and presentation skillsKnowledge of APIs, REST/SOAP web services, and cloud-based applicationsAdvanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros)Experience in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologiesBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related fieldExperience with Tableau or similar visualization toolsScripting experienceCBAP or CCBA certificationCompany OverviewNR Consulting is an information technology consulting firm that offers contingent hiring, direct hires, and managed IT services.
