[Remote] Senior Business Development Manager - Utility and OEMs

They are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead business development efforts in the utility and OEM market, managing existing client relationships and expanding their customer base in the United States.ResponsibilitiesEffectively manage and grow relationships with our existing utility and OEM clients, identifying opportunities for growth through cross-selling of the full portfolio of Powertech products and services to meet their evolving needsProactively identify and engage with potential target clients within the utility and OEM marketDevelop and execute strategic initiatives to expand our customer base, leveraging market trends and competitive intelligenceIdentify potential clients in target industries and complete appropriate research of the prospective client’s business and service needLeverage CRM tools to manage client relationships, track sales pipelines and generate insights that drive strategic business development initiativesLead the coordination and execution of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet and exceed client expectationsNegotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholderStay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies within the utilities and electrical manufacturing landscapeProvide insights and recommendations to the leadership team to guide business strategyLead the development of business cases for new services and offerings that reflect the changing needs in the marketRepresent Powertech at conferences, meetings, and industry eventsSkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus)Minimum of 8 years' experience in business development, commercial strategy and marketing in a related industry for professional services.
