They are seeking a bilingual (Japanese/English) Senior Business Consultant to drive projects through process, data, and technology solutions for external clients, focusing on business improvement and consulting projects.ResponsibilitiesThe focus will be on a wide range of business improvement and consulting projects, such as Business Strategy, Change Management, Accounting, SCM, ERP Implementation, and HR/Organizational Consulting, with responsibility for leading these initiatives as Project ManagerLead project planning, scheduling, task coordination, and progress tracking, including proactively identifying delays, dependencies, and risks across multiple projects and workstreamsConduct interviews with clients to gather insights into their internal work processesConduct interviews and gather data to assess business needs and identify weaknessesDesign solutions in collaboration with the HR consulting team and cross-functional stakeholdersPrepare sales presentations and deliver them to clients and potential clients with the Business Development (BD) teamAssist the BD team in negotiating contracts with clients and potential clientsCollaborate with the marketing and BD team to plan and execute marketing initiativesPlan and develop new services in response to client needs and market demandEnsure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements to safeguard the company’s operations and reputationActively support corporate social responsibility initiatives to enhance the company’s public image and community engagementCollaborate effectively with internal team members and cross-functional stakeholders by sharing information timely, clarifying roles and expectations, and coordinating next stepsProjects and tasks are assigned depending on availability and business needsSkillsBachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experienceBasic knowledge and experience of business or IT project managementExperience with business management AI/software and of AI/software introduction such as ERP, accounting, HR, and/or payroll softwareKnowledge and/or experience in process optimization and process improvement within the organization and/or external client projectsProfessional proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing in both Japanese and English is requiredLogical/Critical Thinking Skills: Discover and stick to the critical issues to be solved. Sort out complex problems and organize it to be simpler explanations or information structuresProject Management/Client Management: Coordinate and manage tasks under pressure. Influence decisions and facilitate change management through collaboration and leadership. Proactively resolve issues and drive project tasks forward.
