[Remote] Senior Business Analyst

InfoLabs inc is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support the planning, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise applications and IT projects. This role involves serving as a liaison between business owners and the development team, as well as facilitating JAD sessions and translating business requirements into functional specifications.ResponsibilitiesServe as the liaison between business owners, project/contract managers, and the development teamCoordinate and facilitate Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions with stakeholders and subject matter expertsGather and translate high-level business requirements into functional specificationsTranslate functional specifications into technical specifications the development team can build fromBreak requirements into use cases / user stories with clear acceptance criteriaTurn information from meetings and written materials into mock-ups, process models, and process flow models (e.g., Microsoft Visio)Collaborate with QA teams, coordinate UAT schedules, run UAT sessions, and guide business testers through the workflowsAuthor test scenarios and perform manual testing; design, write, and execute automation test scripts to validate functionality and find defectsCreate technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and data dictionariesSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience7+ years of IT business/industry experience7+ years performing business analysis on IT projects7+ years with Agile software development methodologies7+ years of requirements gathering7+ years with Microsoft Azure DevOps and/or Team Foundation Server (TFS)7+ years conducting JAD sessions with client stakeholders and subject matter experts7+ years translating functional specifications into technical specifications7+ years translating business requirements into use cases/user stories and acceptance criteria7+ years creating mock-ups, process models, and process flow models from meetings and written materials7+ years creating technical documentation and standard operating procedures7+ years collaborating with QA teams, coordinating and conducting UAT, and guiding business testers7+ years with process modeling tools such as Microsoft Visio5+ years of manual testing (authoring test scenarios and validating against business requirements)5+ years of automation testing (designing, writing, and executing automation test scripts)Strong verbal, written, and technical writing skills; strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skillsExperience deriving business process and data requirements from analyzing process and systems documentation, and creating data dictionariesExperience on government or public-sector IT projectsCompany OverviewInfo Labs Inc is an information technology company and service provider.
