[Remote] Senior Business Analyst

Karsun Solutions is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to enhance their capabilities and maintain delivery excellence for a federal agency. The role involves conducting requirement analysis, preparing documentation, and delivering training, while collaborating with various stakeholders to support backend system development and data management.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the product owners (POs) and sustainment manager as a member of a team consisting of developers, network engineers and other SMEs to:Finalize requirements and maintain product backlogWrite clear user stories and acceptance criteria and gain consensusHelp team with testing (System, Functional and UAT)Contribute to release planning activities to establish release notes and communications for the programCollaborate with the product Team monthly to prioritize the team backlog, set work priorities, identify risk, collaborate with development team members to document progressUse JIRA and other tracking software to track user stories and synchronize with high-side JIRA via weekly exports to be integrated with development efforts in other enterprise programsWork closely with testing team and participate and coordinate various testing activitiesDocument SOPs and technical specificationsCreate user and update user manualsDevelop training presentationsPerform the role of a lead Business Analyst/Scrum MasterNegotiate deliverables by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT (developers and testers) from initial requirements to final implementationDeliver client presentations, facilitate Joint Application Design sessions, and assist in the completion of required deliverablesTranslate high level business requirements into user stories and acceptance test criteria using Agile methodologySkillsBachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Systems, Management Information Systems, IT Management, or other IT degree10-15 years of relevant experienceSignificant capabilities in system development requirements gathering and analysisStrong problem solving and design skillsStrong communication, writing and presentation skillsStrong attention to detailExperience working with key client stakeholders to define and document business processes including functional and technical system requirementsExperience with application development methodologies such as Agile including writing user stories/epics and acceptance criteria using Jira or RallyAbility to manage multiple simultaneous work streams, including projects and program initiatives, and prioritize, manage, and execute effectively with compressed timelines and ambiguous taskingAbility to work independently, take ownership of and complete relatively complex tasks, effectively using available resources, as needed, with minimal guidanceThe ability to successfully obtain and maintain a U.S. Suitability/Public Trust Background ClearanceCompany OverviewKarsun Solutions LLC specializes in Enterprise Modernization and Transformation solutions for the Federal Government.
