This role involves providing strategic and operational decision-making support through financial analysis and business planning, while also guiding the annual operating budget process and leading complex projects.ResponsibilitiesSupport the business to raise standards in key decision areas, taking a forward-looking view supported by a rich consulting toolkit and high emotional intelligence to help articulate different options and influence decisionsPerform a broad range of financial analysis and business plan responsibilities for assigned areasConduct complex financial analysis on performance and potential new business activitiesCoordinate and perform a variety of complex financial analysis; serves as support for activities relating to physician compensation and production analysis as assignedDevelop and maintain analytical methodologies, tools, and data to ensure data quality, security and accessibility; providing technical expertise to other staff involved in data analysisAct as a liaison between finance and operational leaders to ensure they have relevant tools and data and understand how to use themGuide the annual operating budget process to ensure timely and accurate fiscal planningReview budget variances and works with leaders to ensure complianceSupport Vice Presidents and senior leadership across the organizationServe the organization as technical and subject matter expert for areas in which they workProvide input and guidance to other members of the Finance teamLead projects, develop and implement new methodologies and make recommendations to improve both the business and processes within the Finance teamImplement analytical processes and tools (statistical software, data visualization tools, database systems)Lead and work on highly complex projects with large degrees of risk and scopeProvide day to day leadership and direction to assigned team members and participate in the annual performance review processProvide accurate and timely feedback to team members on their work performance, accomplishments and opportunitiesSkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field4 years related experience24 months of experience with performing financial analysis and business planning24 months of experience with developing and maintaining analytical methodologies, tools, and data including ensuring data quality, security, and accessibility24 months of experience with implementing and refining analytical processes and tools including statistical software, data visualization tools, and database systems24 months of experience with generating reports and queries on data visualization platforms including Tableau, Advanced Excel, Visio, Power Bi, and Power Automate24 months of experience with providing technical expertise on SQL, Microsoft Excel and VBA Macros, Data visualization tools, MS power apps and databases to other staff involved in data analysis24 months of experience with Vizient tools and contracts, Six Sigma, Strata and healthcare data through ERP systems including Oracle Netsuite and EPICBenefitsMedical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with supplemental options to fit your needs.401(k) plan with employer contributions to help you plan for the futureTraining, tuition reimbursement, and educational programsFlexible schedulingGenerous time offWellness resources focused on your physical, mental, and emotional healthCompany OverviewEssentia Health is a non-profit organization that offers integrated health care facilities to its patients.
