[Remote] Senior Business Analyst

Accelyst, LLC is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support strategic healthcare initiatives focused on Revenue Management, Payment Integrity, Data Quality, and Operational Excellence. This role involves acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to define requirements, improve processes, and ensure data integrity.ResponsibilitiesElicit, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and system requirementsServe as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, operational teams, and technical teamsSupport Revenue Management, Payment Integrity, Claims, Provider, Membership, and Financial Operations initiativesPerform data analysis, data validation, reconciliation, and root cause analysis to ensure data quality and integrityDevelop business requirements documents (BRDs), functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and use casesFacilitate stakeholder meetings, requirements workshops, and solution design sessionsExecute and coordinate requirements management and change management processesAnalyze existing business processes and recommend opportunities for improvement and operational efficienciesSupport project planning activities including scope definition, impact assessments, risk identification, and solution evaluationPartner with business and IT teams to ensure requirements are properly translated into system solutionsSupport User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and implementation activitiesDevelop training materials, knowledge transfer documentation, and end-user support resourcesLead or participate in cross-functional initiatives and provide guidance to junior analysts when neededConsider business implications of proposed solutions on current and future operational environmentsProvide reporting, metrics, and executive-level status updates as requiredSkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience5+ years of Business Analyst experienceHealthcare payer, health insurance, managed care, or healthcare operations experienceExperience supporting Revenue Management, Revenue Cycle, Payment Integrity, Claims, Provider, Membership, or Financial Operations initiativesStrong experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder managementExperience performing data analysis, reconciliation, validation, and data quality assessmentsExperience supporting full project lifecycle activities from requirements through implementationStrong facilitation, communication, and relationship management skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExperience working with cross-functional business and technology teamsExperience with Payment Integrity programsKnowledge of healthcare claims processing, reimbursement, and revenue management operationsSQL experience for data validation and analysisExperience with Power BI, Tableau, or enterprise reporting toolsExperience supporting enterprise PMO, governance, or transformation initiativesAgile and/or Waterfall project experienceHealthcare payer systems experienceExperience creating process maps, workflow diagrams, and business process documentationCompany OverviewAccelyst is an innovative AI Consultancy that leverages a unique catalog of industry-specific Agents and leading-edge AI platforms to deliver tangible, integrated, secure and ROI-optimized solutions.
