[Remote] Senior Bookkeeper (QuickBooks Online) — Multi-Entity SaaS + Payments

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Uplifter Inc. is a Sports SaaS and Payments company seeking a hands-on Senior Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day bookkeeping and month-end close execution across multiple operating entities. The role involves complex reconciliations, maintaining accurate financial records, and working closely with the Finance Director to improve financial operations. Responsibilities • Own bookkeeping across multiple entities in QuickBooks Online (QBO) • Run month-end close with checklists, cutoffs, and reconciliations • Ensure consistent coding, classification, and GL hygiene • Maintain clean books suitable for leadership and board reporting • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and clearing accounts • Reconcile merchant and payment platforms including: • Stripe • Paysafe • Adyen (and/or similar processors) • Track refunds, chargebacks, and dispute workflows • Support accurate tracking of: • SaaS subscription revenue (MRR/ARR) • Transaction and payments-related revenue • Maintain AR accuracy and follow-ups as required • Ensure monthly reporting is reliable and consistent • Manage vendor bills, payments, and approvals • Track renewals and assist with vendor cost control • Maintain a clear audit trail (invoices, approvals, documentation) • Document workflows and implement repeatable processes • Reduce month-end surprises through stronger controls • Assist with consolidation and clean-up activities as needed • Month-end close is predictable, accurate, and on time • Stripe/processor reconciliations are stable and repeatable • Chart of accounts and categories are consistent across entities • Leadership has confidence in the numbers and reporting cadence Skills • 5+ years bookkeeping experience • Strong QuickBooks Online expertise • Deep reconciliation experience (high-volume transactions) • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills • Detail-oriented, accountable, and execution-focused • SaaS and payments experience • Deferred revenue exposure • PE-backed / investor reporting experience • Experience with multi-currency or multi-entity structures Company Overview • At Uplifter Inc., we empower sports clubs, national associations, and federations across the globe to streamline membership and event management, allowing you to focus on what truly matters- building champions, fostering community, and creating lasting impact.
