[Remote] Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to architect, automate, and optimize cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, collaborating closely with software and data engineering teams.ResponsibilitiesArchitect, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM)Design, build, and optimize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deploymentsManage and automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling across multiple environmentsDeploy, secure, and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters and containerized workloadsImplement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, App Insights, and Log AnalyticsPartner with engineering teams to streamline build, test, and deployment workflowsImplement and enforce cloud security best practices, including identity, secrets management, and network controlsTroubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive long‑term reliability improvementsChampion DevOps culture, automation, and continuous improvement across teamsSkills5–8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability EngineeringDeep expertise with Microsoft Azure, including services such as: Azure App Services, Functions, AKS, ACR, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Storage Accounts, VNETs, Private Endpoints, FirewallsStrong experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platformsProficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred)Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or PythonHands-on experience with Docker and container orchestrationSolid understanding of cloud networking, security, identity, and governanceExperience implementing observability and incident response workflowsExcellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionallyAzure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305, etc.)Experience with service mesh, API gateways, or distributed systemsBackground in .NET, Node.js, or backend engineeringExperience with FinOps or cloud cost optimizationFamiliarity with SOC2, Zero Trust, or other compliance frameworksBenefits100% remote work environmentHigh‑impact engineering culture with strong autonomyOpportunity to influence cloud architecture and DevOps strategyWork with AI‑assisted teams and cutting‑edge technologiesCompetitive compensation and benefitsCompany OverviewImagineX is a digital services firm at the intersection of software engineering, data and AI.
