[Remote] Senior AWS Cloud & Agentic AI Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kforce Inc is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud & Agentic AI Engineer to design and build scalable, cloud-native and AI-driven platforms on AWS. This role focuses on developing APIs, MCP servers, and end-to-end agentic workflows using AWS Bedrock AgentCore, collaborating with multiple teams to deliver secure, production-ready solutions.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Build and operate scalable APIs using AWS Lambda, ECS, and EKS
ā¢ Design and implement MCP Servers and end-to-end solutions using AWS Bedrock AgentCore (memory, observability, gateway, identity)
ā¢ Develop and integrate agentic workflows with AWS Bedrock AgentCore
ā¢ Integrate AWS Connect with AI-driven and agentic workflows
ā¢ Build and manage infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation and AWS CDK
ā¢ Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
ā¢ Practice and promote spec-driven development, leveraging AI-assisted tools such as Windsurf and SpecIt to accelerate design, implementation, and validation
ā¢ Collaborate with application, data, security, and platform teams
ā¢ Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, scalability, reliability, and observability
Skills
ā¢ Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures
ā¢ Experience building scalable APIs using Lambda, ECS, and/or EKS
ā¢ Hands-on experience building MCP Servers
ā¢ Experience delivering end-to-end solutions with AWS Bedrock AgentCore
ā¢ Experience integrating AWS Connect with backend systems and workflows
ā¢ Infrastructure as Code: AWS CloudFormation and AWS CDK
ā¢ CI/CD: GitHub Actions
ā¢ Experience with spec-driven development, including use of AI-powered tools such as Windsurf and SpecIt
ā¢ Experience working in complex, multi-team enterprise environments
ā¢ Strong collaboration and cross-team communication skills
ā¢ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment
ā¢ Strong problem-solving skills and end-to-end ownership mindset
ā¢ Experience integrating AWS Connect with Bedrock AgentCore agentic workflows
ā¢ Experience with AWS Novasonic, especially when connected to AWS Connect
ā¢ Experience with AI/LLM-based platforms, agent orchestration, and observability
