[Remote] Senior Analyst Consumer Credit
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Nissan Motor Corporation is seeking a Senior Analyst Consumer Credit to join their team in Irving, TX. This role involves analyzing consumer credit applications, determining creditworthiness, negotiating with dealers, and ensuring compliance with underwriting policies while providing excellent customer service.ResponsibilitiesEvaluates credit applications based on information received from credit bureau reports and various other sources. Negotiates with dealers on disputed loan or lease decisions made by Credit Analystβs Level I and II. Assists analysts with escalated dealer callsAnalyzes the credit risk of potential lease and retail customers and confirms or denies loans. Negotiates decisions, tiers, and terms on applications, approvals and declinesUtilizes risk scoring and credit analysis to administer a risk-based pricing finance programAssists in the training of new credit analysts to properly administer credit policies and proceduresReviews loan and lease decisions by analysts for compliance with underwriting policyCoordinates with the Field Sales team to promote and maintain positive relations with the dealer baseBuilds and maintains dealer relationships by providing excellent customer servicePerforms side-by-side coaching and guidance of Analysts to ensure quality and consistency of lease and retail purchase decisionsMonitors credit application and inbound call workflow to ensure coverage of queues and callsAs necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representativeSkillsBachelor's degree in finance or degree in related field: Minimum of 4 years credit lending experience required, with 2 years of secured credit buying experience required. Experience in automotive finance is preferredAssociate's degree in finance or degree in related field: Minimum of 5 years credit lending experience required, with 3 years of secured credit buying experience required. Experience in automotive finance is preferredHigh-school diploma: Minimum of 8 years credit lending experience required, with 5 years of secured credit buying experience required.
