The Senior Analyst in Business Operations will lead consultative sessions, conduct sophisticated data analysis, and optimize processes to enhance operational decision-making and drive revenue growth.ResponsibilitiesLeads consultative requirements gathering sessions with internal operational stakeholders to scope analytical support needs and provide solutions that empower data driven decision making and revenue growthConducts sophisticated data analysis, modeling, prescriptive/diagnostic insight generation and data storytelling across all facets of the Retrospective Claims Auditing businessLeads process optimization exercises to compress the time-to-value in reporting/production and charged with maximizing the utility of individuals across the organizationCreates simplistic automated business tools, templates, and KPI reporting products that allow departments (operations/yield) to work effectivelyConducts ROI and opportunity cost evaluations for the reallocation of resources, capital investments, and sizing new business opportunities for account management teamsAssists management in transformational execution of new business practices and in driving operational accountabilityDevelop and leads monthly/quarterly business reviews that benchmarks each departments trending financial performance, evaluates cost, and measures the overall productivity/health of the businessWorks cross functionally to build out solutions and insights for competitive intelligenceWhen necessary creates, delivers, and maintains basic client/internal reportingComplete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance PlanComplete all special projects and other duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree with quantitative focus (Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Accounting) or equivalent experience5+ combined years experience in management consulting, investment banking, business strategy, operational excellence/process improvement, and/or FinanceStrong analytical, quantitative, written, and interpersonal skillsProficient in data storytelling, predictive/prescriptive analysis and in manipulating large quantities of data with strong spreadsheet and database query experience (e.g. SQL)Prior experience leading business optimization, ROI analysis, and financial modeling exercisesComfort working in fast-paced environment with limited guidanceAdvanced experience in Microsoft office suite (Excel, Power Point, Vizio, and Access)Extremely well-organized and capable of handling multiple projects and ad-hoc requests simultaneouslyPrior experience with BI tools including Microstrategy, Tableau, Power Pivot, and DataMeerSQL and database management experienceLean knowledge/experience to apply lean concepts and principles across respective value streamsExperience in healthcare and/or software industries a plusBenefitsMedical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance coverage401(k) savings plansPaid family leave9 paid holidays per year17-27 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year, depending on specific level and length of service with CotivitiCompany OverviewCotiviti enables healthcare organizations to deliver better care at lower cost through advanced technology and data analytics that improve the quality and sustainability of healthcare in the United States.
