[Remote] Senior Analyst, Analytics Development & Model Governance

They are seeking a Senior Analyst, Analytics Development and Model Governance, who will develop and optimize statistical and machine learning models to detect and prevent fraud, while also ensuring model governance and performance evaluation.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, validate, and optimize statistical and machine learning models, including regression and XGBoost, to detect and prevent fraudDesign and implement features to improve model performance and stabilityBuild tools and frameworks to support scalable model development, evaluation, and monitoringEvaluate model performance and conduct comparative analyses across approachesPerform exploratory data analysis and assess data quality across diverse datasetsEnrich and integrate data from internal and external sourcesPackage, deploy, and support models in production environmentsConduct model governance activities, including validation, documentation, and ongoing monitoringProduce reports, visualizations, and summaries to support decision-makingSkills2+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related fieldDegree (undergraduate or graduate) in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, or another quantitative discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experiencePython skills for data analysis and machine learning, including PySpark, Polars, NumPy, and PandasSolid foundation in statistics and machine learning best practicesExperience with regression, XGBoost, and other core ML algorithmsHands-on experience across the full model lifecycle: data ingestion, EDA, modeling, validation, and deploymentExperience building or supporting model development tools or pipelinesFamiliarity with model governance frameworks covering validation, monitoring, and documentationExperience communicating analytical concepts to diverse audiencesExperience working with large-scale data processing frameworks such as SparkProficiency in UNIX/Linux environments and scripting, including BashFamiliarity with object-oriented programming principlesExposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred)Experience debugging or supporting production systems; bonus: Java familiarityBenefitsGreat compensation package and bonus plan.Core benefits including medical, dental, vision, and matching 401K.Flexible work environment, ability to work remote, hybrid or in-office.Flexible time off including volunteer time off, vacation, sick and 12-paid holidays.Company OverviewExperian is a data analytics and consumer credit reporting company.
