[Remote] Senior Air Quality Consultant

They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Air Quality Consultant to manage complex air quality projects, ensure compliance with environmental regulations, and provide expert guidance to clients.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage air quality assessments and impact analyses for various projectsEnsure compliance with CEQA and other relevant environmental regulationsPrepare and review technical reports, including air quality impact assessments and mitigation plansConduct air quality modeling and data analysisProvide expert advice and support to clients on air quality issues and regulatory requirementsComplete air quality permits under SCAQMD, SJVAPCD, BAAQMD and other Air Districts, including Title V PermitsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement air quality management strategiesStay updated on the latest developments in air quality regulations and best practicesMentor and train junior staff membersSkillsBachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience in air quality consulting, with a focus on CEQA and regulatory complianceStrong knowledge of air quality regulations, including CEQA, the Clean Air Act, and local air district rulesProficiency in air quality modeling software (e.g., AERMOD, CalEEMod)Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProfessional certifications (e.g., QEP, PE) are a plusBenefitsRestricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation packageMedicalDentalLife insurancePTO401(k)Professional development/advancement opportunitiesCompany OverviewNV5 is a provider of technology, conformity assessment, and consulting solutions for public and private sector clients supporting infrastructure, utility, and building assets and systems.
