This role involves modern test automation engineering with a strong emphasis on AI-driven quality assurance, combining traditional automation expertise with cutting-edge AI capabilities to enhance testing effectiveness.ResponsibilitiesUtilize AI technologies to accelerate test case creation, test data generation, automation development, and test maintenanceLeverage Generative AI to improve testing efficiency, productivity, and quality outcomesImplement AI-assisted defect analysis, root cause identification, and test impact analysisEvaluate emerging AI testing capabilities and recommend innovative solutions to enhance quality engineering practicesApache JMeter performance testing experienceDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks using Java and modern automation technologiesDevelop automated functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and smoke test suites for web and enterprise applicationsBuild and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent automation frameworksEstablish automation standards, best practices, and reusable testing componentsAnalyze test results and provide actionable recommendations to development teamsContinuously improve automation coverage and testing effectivenessDesign and automate testing solutions for APIs, services, and microservices-based applicationsDevelop and execute automated API test suites using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar toolsValidate functionality, integration points, authentication, authorization, and data integritySupport functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing activitiesEnsure quality across all layers of the application architectureSkillsMinimum of 7 to 10 Years of Experience as an Automation Test EngineerExperience developing automation frameworks and test solutions using JavaStrong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and modern web automation toolsExperience creating and maintaining API collections, test scripts, and automated validations using PostmanExperience testing RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices-based applicationsFamiliarity with SQL databases and data validation techniquesExperience working with source control systems and Agile development methodologiesAbility to leverage AI tools to accelerate test automation development, maintenance, and analysisCompany OverviewASSYST is a global CMMI level 3 information technology solutions provider.
