In this role, you will ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards, with a strong focus on revenue operations and ASC 606.ResponsibilitiesServe as the subject matter expert for revenue recognition under ASC 606, ensuring revenue is recorded accurately and in compliance with US GAAPReview customer contracts to identify and assess performance obligations, transaction prices, and appropriate recognition timingPrepare and review revenue journal entries, deferred revenue schedules, and related account reconciliationsSupport revenue-related audit requests and serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors on revenue mattersMaintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data in the accounting systemServe as a key contributor in the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries for lease accounting, accruals, prepaids, and capitalized softwarePrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing timely insights into the financial condition of the companyPrepare, maintain, analyze, and report key SaaS performance metricsAssist in preparation of the monthly financial package and help ensure all reporting deadlines are metCoordinate with external auditors on the annual financial statement audit, including preparation of financial statements, footnotes, and audit schedulesIncorporate AI into everyday workflow to obtain efficiency, insights, and improved qualitySkillsCPA designationBachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldAt least 3 years of audit experience at a public accounting firm, or private industry experienceDeep, working knowledge of US GAAP, including:ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and SaaS-specific revenue recognitionContract review and performance obligation analysisASC 340 (contract costs/commissions)BenefitsMedical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance.Company OverviewRobert Half provides staffing, recruiting, finance, and accounting services.
