[Remote] Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting

This role involves preparing financial statements, advising on accounting treatment, and managing process improvement projects within a multi-faceted insurance company.ResponsibilitiesPrepare quarterly and annual Statutory financial statements to meet regulatory reporting requirementsAdvise with operational segments on accounting treatmentWork with internal and external auditors to provide necessary supportPresent analytical schedules, variance analyses, and provide support for internal requestsActively identify, lead, manage, and complete process improvement projectsAssist with state filing requirements as neededAdditional responsibilities, as assignedSkillsBA/BS degree in Accounting3+ years of experience in financial reporting.
