[Remote] Senior Accountant (CPA Preferred) – Workday Financials

The role requires strong accounting skills and the ability to manage month-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting independently.ResponsibilitiesExecute and support the complete month-end close processPrepare and review balance sheet reconciliationsGenerate financial reports and perform accounting analysis within WorkdayResearch accounting guidance and recommend appropriate accounting treatmentSupport annual audits, budgeting activities, and tax-related requirementsReview work completed by other accounting team membersServe as an internal accounting consultant on special projects and initiativesCommunicate financial results and accounting processes effectively with leadershipBuild and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholdersSkillsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with 4+ years of accounting experience, or Master's Degree with 2+ years of experienceCPA strongly preferredDeep, hands-on experience with Workday FinancialsStrong knowledge of General Ledger (GL)Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)Strong knowledge of Cash ManagementStrong knowledge of Fixed AssetsStrong knowledge of Financial ReportingProven ownership of month-end close processesExtensive balance sheet reconciliation experienceStrong understanding of accrual accountingStrong understanding of journal entriesStrong understanding of financial reportingStrong understanding of accounting controlsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsWorkday implementation or AP experience is highly desirableEpic experience is a plusBenefitsEligible consultants may qualify for benefits including medical coverage, 401(k), and paid time off, subject to plan eligibility requirements.Company OverviewTalentFish is a staffing technology and operations services platform that offers co-employment and PEO services.
