[Remote] Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will oversee the company's accounting functions, collaborating with the CFO to establish accounting policies, ensure compliance, and manage financial reporting and activities.ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day financial functions, including accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), treasury, and payroll/benefits administrationEnsure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly close processes, reconciliations, and internal auditsDesign processes and procedures to facilitate achieving target close within 5-10 daysOversee tax filings, compliance requirements, and insurance coverage to mitigate financial and operational risksProvide actionable insights via financial modeling, variance analysis, and reportingDesign and implement scalable financial systems, processes, and controls to support rapid expansionAdditional responsibilities as assigned by the CFOSkillsSolid knowledge of financial and accounting GAAP principles including experience working with fundamental accounting principles such as revenue recognition and accrualsDeep understanding of SaaS metrics (e.g., ARR, LTV, CAC, churn) and subscription-based financial modelsExpertise in financial systems and tools (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar platforms)Self-starter with the ability to independently identify, research, and resolve issues, manage competing priorities, and execute responsibilities with minimal oversightAbility to balance strategic initiatives with hands-on operational responsibilitiesExceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detailOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present complex financial data clearlyBachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or a related; CPA preferred3-5 years of experience with 2+ years experience in public AccountingExperience in monthly accounting close and financial reporting processesCPA preferredCompany OverviewWe help fuel companies optimize their sales, supply, dispatch, and logistics with our AI-enabled software platform.
