[Remote] Senior Account Manager (South Georgia)

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for sales and relationship management for target customers in Southern Georgia, focusing on Public Safety Equipment and strategic account planning.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a comprehensive sales plan for each “target” account and or geography and their buying centers covering the full portfolio of Motorola Solutions products and services (core and emerging technologies)Assemble and coordinate a diverse team of internal & external sales resources to assess customer’s needs and address their requirementsAct as a trusted advisor to influence customer’s technology platform decisions and develop preference and loyalty for Motorola SolutionsProactively develop large project opportunities encompassing a wide range of products and services while forecasting future business out eight quartersProactively engage and lead channel partners in selling Motorola Solutions products and services to customers buying centers where appropriateDevelop strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers within and outside of public safety: Sheriff, Mayor, CIO, Police Chief, Fire Chief, and other officials to understand and influence technology and funding prioritiesProactively engage Motorola Solutions executive sponsors to build a strategic relationship to position long-term opportunities for the companyDevelop Motorola Solutions procurement vehicles for multiple solutions to be leveraged across customer baseSkillsBachelors Degree with 4+ years of sales, public safety experienceOR 8+ years of sales, public safety experienceStrong relationship development and management skillsExperience utilizing strategic account management practicesExcellent communication skills (oral, written, & presentation)Ability to quickly learn new key characteristics of products/solutions and communicate the value of those solutions to customersAbility to develop and maintain relationships with C-Level executivesAbility to lead a diverse group in addressing customer requirementsExperience utilizing channel partners to address customer requirementsAbility to quickly learn Salesforce as the project reporting tool and forecast methodPrevious outside sales experience selling solutions into government organizationsPreferred candidates will live in South Georgia or Northern FloridaBenefitsIncentive Bonus PlansMedical, Dental, Vision benefits401K with Company Match10 Paid HolidaysGenerous Paid Time Off PackagesEmployee Stock Purchase PlanPaid Parental & Family LeaveCompany OverviewMotorola Solutions creates mission-critical communication solutions and services for public safety and commercial customers.
