[Remote] Senior Account Manager - SLED
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. FMC Talent is seeking a Senior Account Manager for the Public Sector, ideally based in New York or working remotely. The role focuses on driving growth across State, Local Government, and Education markets by managing a portfolio of accounts, expanding existing relationships, and generating new business opportunities.ResponsibilitiesOwn and grow a portfolio of Public Sector accounts across the Northeastern USDrive both new business and expansion revenue within existing customersBuild and execute strategic account plans to deepen relationships and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunitiesGenerate new pipeline through targeted outreach, networking, and partner collaborationEngage senior stakeholders and position the business as a long-term strategic partnerLead complex deal cycles, including RFP and RFI processes, pricing strategy, and negotiationsDevelop compelling business cases and ROI-driven value propositionsWork closely with consulting, marketing, customer teams, and wider internal stakeholdersMaintain strong pipeline coverage and consistently work towards exceeding quotaSkills10+ years' enterprise SaaS sales experienceTrack record of exceeding quota, ideally $1m+Experience selling into Public Sector organisations, including State, Local Government, or EducationProven ability to expand existing accounts and close net-new businessStrong executive presence and relationship-building skillsSelf-starter mentality with the ability to generate pipeline independentlyExperience managing complex, strategic enterprise software sales cyclesAbility to develop ROI-led business cases and value propositionsBased in the Northeastern USExperience selling software related to asset management, infrastructure, capital projects, operations management, or complianceExperience working with Public Sector procurement processes, including RFPs and RFIsStrong understanding of digital transformation within State, Local Government, or Education environmentsExperience working cross-functionally with consulting, marketing, customer success, and partner teamsCompany OverviewFor over 30 years we've looked at recruitment a little differently, finding the very best people for technology companies across the globe.
