[Remote] Senior Account Manager, PBM Partnerships

They are seeking a Senior Account Manager, PBM Partnerships to manage multimillion-dollar partnerships with leading pharmacy benefit managers, driving contract outcomes and developing multi-year account plans. This role requires deep domain expertise and strong commercial instincts to build executive-level relationships and expand Interra's footprint across the PBM landscape.ResponsibilitiesOwn a portfolio of large, complex PBM partnerships with significant revenue impact βmanaging the full account lifecycle from contract execution through renewal, expansion, and executive relationship developmentDevelop and execute multi-year account plans that align partner goals with Interra revenue objectives, identifying whitespace opportunities across new use cases, populations, and distribution channelsLead high-stakes negotiations, QBRs, and strategic reviews independently β presenting to C-suite and VP-level stakeholders with confidence, credibility, and minimal reliance on internal escalationBuild and maintain relationships across multiple levels of each PBM organization βspanning clinical, operations, product, commercial, and legal β while identifying and cultivating executive sponsors who can champion Interra's initiatives internallyManage complex contract lifecycles including amendments, SOWs, renewals, and multi-party agreements, coordinating cross-functional teams (Legal, Product, Engineering, Implementation) to deliver on partner commitmentsBuild business cases and financial models to support pricing negotiations, renewal strategy, and upsell/cross-sell opportunities; maintain disciplined pipeline and forecast management with accurate revenue timing and risk visibilityMonitor and translate market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments β including CMS mandates, NCPDP standards, and transparency requirements β into actionable account strategy and internal insights for leadershipActively leverage AI tools to accelerate account planning, research, communication, and reporting β contributing to Interra's broader AI-first commercial motionSkillsBachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus7+ years of experience in strategic account management, partnerships, or commercial roles β with a meaningful portion in or selling to the PBM, health plan, or pharmacy benefit ecosystemProven track record managing large, complex PBM or health plan partnerships with multimillion-dollar revenue impact; direct experience with organizations such as Evernorth, Optum, CVS Caremark, Prime, Humana, or MedImpact strongly preferredDeep domain knowledge of the PBM landscape: formulary management, prior authorization, pharmacy benefit design, RTPB, cost and coverage transparency, coupon/copay programs, and patient affordability solutionsFluency in EHR distribution models, connectivity standards, and how prescriber workflows drive utilization β with an understanding of how Interra's clinical decision support capabilities fit into that ecosystemDemonstrated ability to lead contract negotiations and executive presentations without over-reliance on internal support; skilled at navigating matrixed organizations where influence must be earned across functionsStrong commercial acumen: experience building business cases, financial models, and pricing analyses to support renewals and expansion opportunitiesExceptional executive communication skills β written and verbal β with the ability to simplify complex concepts for senior audiences and read the room in politically sensitive conversationsOwnership mentality: you treat your book of business like a P&L, operate with a bias toward action, and bring cross-functional teams along without acting as a lone wolfRecognized expert in PBM economics, pharmacy benefit design, and healthcare commercial strategy.
