[Remote] Senior Account Manager

SeaCoast Underwriters, Inc., now known as Risk Placement Services, is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to manage a portfolio of captive insurance clients. This role involves financial oversight, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day client relationship management, requiring collaboration with internal teams and external service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of captive insurance clientsBuild trusted relationships with clients and provide clear, timely guidance on all captive‑related mattersDeliver a high standard of customer service to clients and service providersMonitor client cash flow and prepare or review financial statements, management reports, and budgetsCompile, consolidate, and analyze financial information for captive clientsPrepare or review regulatory filings and ensure ongoing compliance with captive insurance regulationsSupport client business plan changes and communicate with captive regulatorsPrepare or review materials and present at captive Board of Director meetingsClearly explain accounting and financial concepts to non‑finance stakeholdersCoordinate with auditors, actuaries, attorneys, regulators, and other service providersFacilitate annual captive audits, including gathering documentation and supporting timely completion and filingPartner with internal and external teams to support annual insurance policy renewalsWork effectively within a team environment to support shared client and business objectivesMay provide guidance or oversight to other team members without formal people‑management responsibilitySkillsBachelor's degree and 7 or more years client service and/or claims management experience OR High School degree and 12 years experienceLicense requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environmentAble and willing to travel approximately 25% of the timeProfessional designation or higher education may be preferred, such as CPA or MBABenefitsMedical/dental/vision plans, which start from day one!Life and accident insurance401(K) and Roth optionsTax-advantaged accounts (HSA, FSA)Educational expense reimbursementPaid parental leaveDigital mental health services (Talkspace)Flexible work hours (availability varies by office and job function)Training programsGallagher Thrive program – elevating your health through challenges, workshops and digital fitness programs for your overall wellbeingCharitable matching gift programCompany OverviewSeaCoast Underwriters is now Risk Placement Services!
