They are seeking a highly experienced Senior Account Executive to support their Strategic Accounts segment, managing large, complex clients and ensuring exceptional client experiences through strategic execution and operational excellence.ResponsibilitiesServe as a senior operational lead on complex client accounts, partnering closely with the Producer, Managing Consultant, and Senior Benefit Consultant to execute client strategyOwn and continuously elevate the overall client experience, ensuring alignment between strategic intent and day-to-day service deliveryAct as a primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, demonstrating strong executive presence and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and confidentlyLead execution of complex renewal cycles, coordinating across multiple carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders while ensuring alignment with client objectivesManage and coordinate all day-to-day service delivery across a multi-disciplinary team, often including multiple Account Managers, Associate Account Managers, and Financial Benefit ConsultantsServe as the day-to-day leader of the account team, driving alignment, accountability, and performance across all service resourcesDrive accountability across the service team by managing timelines, deliverables, and quality standards in a fast-paced, high-expectation environmentNavigate and support complex funding arrangements (e.g., self-funded, level-funded, captives, and other alternative funding strategies), with a strong understanding of operational and financial implicationsAlign service delivery with the client’s broader business objectives, ensuring benefit strategies are executed in a way that supports organizational goalsIdentify, anticipate, and proactively resolve service risks and gaps before they impact the clientLead resolution of complex service issues and escalations, coordinating cross-functional teams to drive timely and effective outcomesPartner with Financial Benefit Consultants and analysts to ensure accurate data flow, reporting, and insights that support client strategySupport client retention and growth by identifying opportunities to enhance value, strengthen relationships, and expand services in partnership with the Producer and consulting teamOperate effectively within highly customized, non-standard service models, adapting approach based on client complexity and business needsExercise strong judgment in ambiguous or high-stakes situations, making informed decisions that balance client needs, risk, and business prioritiesMentor and elevate junior team members, contributing to the overall strength and performance of the teamSkillsDemonstrated success managing large, complex employee benefits clients (3,000+ lives) within a brokerage or consulting environmentDeep understanding of employee benefits, including both fully insured and alternative funding arrangementsProven ability to operate effectively within a highly matrixed team structure, influencing without direct authorityStrong executive presence with the ability to engage and influence senior client stakeholdersExceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneouslyHighly proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to operate with speed, precision, and accountability within a high-performing team environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of professionalism and attention to detailAbility and willingness to attend in-person client meetings and travel as needed7+ years of experience in employee benefits account management, with a significant portion supporting large-group or enterprise clientsProven experience supporting self-funded and complex benefit structures requiredDemonstrated experience leading or coordinating cross-functional service teamsLife & Health License requiredAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint requiredBachelor's Degree preferredExperience working with data, reporting, and analytics tools preferredBenefitsVariable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performanceHealth, wellbeing, retirement, and other financial benefitsPaid time offOvertime pay for non-exempt employeesRobust learning and development programsReimbursement of job-related expenses per the company policyEmployee perks and discountsCompany OverviewOneDigital is focused exclusively on employee benefits.
