[Remote] Senior Account Executive- Mid-Atlantic

The Senior Account Executive serves as a key liaison between clients, internal teams, and external partners, delivering high-quality service and supporting sales growth by managing client portfolios and identifying new business opportunities.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing day-to-day relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction, retention, and service quality, while also uncovering new opportunitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders at multiple levels, including regular engagement with senior leadershipRespond to client inquiries accurately and promptly, resolving issues and escalating quality concerns as needed to ensure timely resolutionIdentify, present, and support the implementation of new business opportunities, program enhancements, and strategic solutions that drive revenue growth and client retentionOversee client implementations and ongoing program changes, ensuring alignment with contractual terms, regulatory requirements, and business guidelinesMonitor service performance, key business metrics, and revenue goals; provide clear performance updates and insights into internal leadershipPrepare and lead client Business Reviews, including coordinating materials, documentation, logistics, and stakeholder participationAnalyze program performance and financial results to identify risks, address issues, and recommend solutions or alternative approachesEnsure accuracy and integrity of client and business arrangement data from sales through implementation and ongoing changesManage contracting and re-contracting activities, collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams such as Legal, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Actuarial, and SalesPartner with Legal to support contract and addendum development and ensure all necessary approvals are obtainedImplement program improvements that increase operational efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining service excellenceSkillsA minimum of 3 years of experience in agency sales, marketing, and/or account development experienceA minimum of 1 year of experience in Private Flood insurance or NFIPBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceExperience building long-term relationships with clients and providing solutions based on business needsProficiency with MS Tools i.e., Excel, Word, and PowerPointPreferred residency in North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, Delaware, or KentuckyAbility to work effectively with various company functions and individualsPerform work responsibilities promptly and in a fast-paced, high-volume office work environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsManage large groups to drive resultsExperienced in performing effectively when priorities, direction, and resources changeCollaborate well with direct and indirect managementEnsure alignment with the established Assurant and line of business goals/objectivesApply expert problem-solving skills to the most complex issues and recommend improvementsAdvanced knowledge of channels and Assurant's businessBenefitsComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage starting day one401(k) with a 6% company matchPaid time off, holidays, and a volunteer dayRemote work environmentProfessional development opportunitiesEmployee wellness and mental health resourcesCompany OverviewAssurant provides protection products and related services to safeguard companies against risks.
