[Remote] Senior Account Executive, Legacy

The Senior Account Executive, Legacy will manage direct marketing fundraising programs for a portfolio of clients, serving as the primary contact and leading strategic initiatives to enhance client relationships and campaign effectiveness.ResponsibilitiesDevelop client annual plans in coordination with the Senior Account Director or Vice PresidentPrepare and interpret reports/analysis that evaluate client’s planned giving marketing programs with recommendations for improvements in alignment with client goalsDesign, implement, and evaluate segmentation strategies, to develop effective segmentation for Planned Giving direct response marketing campaignsEnsure agency reporting is in alignment with client campaign strategyUnderstand internal and industry benchmarking and trendsDevelop year-long and multi-year planned giving marketing strategies aligned with client goalsPrepare and present annual plan to clientsProvide strategic leadership of client programsOversee implementation of client’s annual planPrepare, finalize and present strategy decksManage a cross-channel teamDevelop concepts and messaging for integrated direct response projectsWork with copywriters and designers to develop program content in alignment with project and program strategyManage account and production team service delivery to the client, including problem-solving and accountability for errorsLiaise with client contacts to ensure their satisfaction and enhance client relationshipsTravel to meet with clients as necessaryFor integrated clients, coordinate with Offline and Digital teams to develop multi-channel campaigns and wrap-up decksDemonstrate working knowledge of each area of agency’s client servicesMentor managers, coordinators, or assistants; other team membersLead as a trusted subject matter expert for the agency in the area of legacy and planned givingEnhance company’s brand by attending events, publishing white papers/blog posts, speaking at workshops and networking with influencers in the industryKeep up to date on changes in the legacy industry and practicesParticipate in new business proposals and presentations when requestedSkillsMinimum years of experience required: 9 years in nonprofit fundraising and/or advocacy, with at least 4 to 6 years in nonprofit planned giving fundraising and marketingDirect marketing, especially fundraising and/or advocacyKnowledge base of planned giving concepts and marketing techniquesExperience in strategic and production management of direct marketing projectsWorking knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook)Demonstrated effective use of digital tools to manage internal and external workflow and communication (including email, chat, virtual meetings, and online workflow tool)Communication: Facilitates effective and lively discussion, presenting compelling arguments to large and cross-functional teamsWriting/Editing Skills: Translates a wide variety of information into developed, clear, and structured messaging (e.g., strategies, memos, proposals, instructions, external-facing documents, etc.)Attention to Detail: Creates, refines, and enforces high level of
