[Remote] Senior Account Executive, IP Solutions - Americas

Sun IP is a technology-enabled provider of global intellectual property services, and they are seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive new business and expand existing relationships across law firms and corporate IP teams in the Americas. This full-cycle role focuses on generating pipeline, closing new business, and expanding existing accounts through a consultative sales approach.ResponsibilitiesProactively identify and pursue new opportunities within law firms and corporate IP departmentsBuild and manage a self-sourced pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry engagementConduct discovery conversations to understand client needs and position Sun IP solutions effectivelyDeliver tailored presentations to IP professionals, including attorneys, partners, and IP operations teamsRepresent Sun IP at industry events, conferences, and client meetingsSell across Sun IP’s service portfolio, with a primary focus on patent and trademark renewalsPosition additional offerings, including filings, translations, recordals, and IP support servicesNavigate multi-threaded sales cycles across legal, operational, and procurement stakeholdersClearly articulate value through service quality, risk mitigation, and operational efficiencyServe as a primary point of contact for assigned accountsIdentify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunitiesBuild account plans to expand revenue within existing clientsMaintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and responsivenessMaintain accurate pipeline and forecasting within CRM systemsFollow structured sales processes and stage definitionsParticipate in regular pipeline reviews and forecasting discussionsMaintain consistent pipeline coverage aligned with quota expectationsSkillsMinimum of 5 years of experience selling IP services or solutionsDirect experience selling patent and trademark renewals is requiredProven track record of generating pipeline and closing new businessExperience selling into law firms and corporate IP teamsStrong consultative and solution-selling skillsAbility to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cyclesStrong communication and presentation skillsHigh level of ownership, accountability, and urgencyAbility to operate effectively in a growth-oriented environmentExperience with filings, translations, or recordals is strongly preferredCompany OverviewSun IP provides solution for IP translation and filing.
