[Remote] Security Officer Patrol Remote Mining Facility

The Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver role involves providing security services at a manufacturing and industrial location, responding to incidents, and conducting regular patrols to ensure safety and security. Responsibilities Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points, with duties varying based on the location Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to deter unauthorized entry while following site procedures for contractors, deliveries, and employee movement Observe equipment storage areas, materials staging zones, and exterior grounds for unusual activity, maintenance-related concerns, and/or other security-related issues, and communicate findings as needed Skills Be at least 21 years of age A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles Possess a high school diploma or equivalent As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred A guard card/license is preferred Benefits Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.
