The Security Identity Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and developing the SailPoint platform, focusing on automation, integration, and customization to ensure secure and scalable identity services.ResponsibilitiesSupport and maintain IAM and SailPoint operationsDevelop connectors, APIs, and automate identity lifecycle workflowsMonitor identity systems and support security incident responseMaintain governance, certification campaigns, and access controlsCreate technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvementsSupport cloud identity services and ensure system availabilitySkillsBachelor's degree in technology or applicable experience3+ years of experience within Identity and Access Management roles5+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and O365 services and technology3+ years of hands-on experience with SailPoint Identity Security CloudExperience with, but not excluded to: SAML, OID, OAuth, SCIM, MFAExperience working with and managing Active Directory / MS Entra IDKnowledge of information security identity standards, principles, and practices requiredKnowledge of industry security standards, guidelines, and regulatory/compliance requirements related to information security such as ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, SOC2, PCI, SOX, etcPrioritization, decision-making, critical thinking, communication, and relationship-building skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentRelated certifications (e.g., GSEC, CISSP, GIAC, AWS) preferredExperience with at least one full SailPoint implementation preferredExperience with PowerShell, Python, shell scripting, XML, JSON, REST/SOAPProficiency in developing custom connectors/adapters, configuring JML workflows, and configuring user access certification campaignsWorking knowledge of Active Directory, MS Entra ID, and OktaCompany Overview66degrees is a leading google cloud premier partner that specializes in business consulting and services.
