[Remote] Security Engineer (L4) - Application Security Reviews and Assessments

They are seeking a Security Software Engineer for the Application Security team to develop AppSec tooling and deliver critical AppSec services while collaborating with various engineering teams to enhance security across their ecosystem. Responsibilities • Partner closely with engineering teams across bolthires to develop AppSec tooling that scales security throughout our ecosystem and also deliver on critical AppSec services • Drive the design and development of innovative security solutions, providing practical guidance to engineering teams and contributing to our security posture at scale • Collaborate with developers, product managers and security engineers to solve complex technical challenges and continuously improve the developer experience with security controls Skills • Strong experience in software development and delivery, preferably in Python; bonus for PySpark experience • Deep application security expertise and hands on experience with bug bounty programs, threat modeling, security reviews, and pentesting • Proven ability to design and deliver scalable, end-to-end security solutions • Familiarity with integrating security controls into various stages of the SDLC • Familiarity with security tooling such as SAST, DAST, and network scanners • Skilled at analyzing and transforming data into insights, and enjoy solving challenging problems • Communicate effectively and clearly across diverse audience Benefits • Health Plans • Mental Health support • A 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match • Stock Option Program • Disability Programs • Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts • Family-forming benefits • Life and Serious Injury Benefits • Paid leave of absence programs • Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.• Full-time salaried employees are immediately entitled to flexible time off.
