[Remote] Search Marketing Manager (Google ADs)

The role involves developing and optimizing comprehensive Google Ads strategies, managing budgets, and providing performance analysis to meet key performance indicators.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, execute, and optimize comprehensive Google Ads strategies (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, and Remarketing) to achieve KPIs including ROAS, CPA, CTR, conversion rate, and revenue targetsConduct thorough keyword research, competitive analysis, and negative keyword management to maximize relevance and efficiencyWrite high-converting ad copy, develop extensions, and run A/B tests on headlines, descriptions, landing pages, and bidsManage daily budgets, bidding strategies (manual, Smart Bidding, Target ROAS/CPA), and auction insights to improve efficiency and scale spend profitablyMonitor campaigns daily using Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, and other tools. Provide actionable insights, reports, and recommendations to stakeholdersCollaborate with web and creative teams to improve Quality Score, landing page experience, and conversion funnelsBuild and refine audience segments, RLSA campaigns, and customer match strategiesEnsure all campaigns adhere to Google’s policies, brand guidelines, and industry regulationsStay current with Google Ads updates, beta features, and emerging paid search trends; test new tactics to maintain competitive advantageSkills4+ years of hands-on experience managing large-scale Google Ads accounts ($50K+ monthly spend preferred)Google Ads Certification (and preferably Google Analytics Certification)Proven track record of consistently hitting or exceeding ROAS/CPA targets in e-commerce, lead generation, or B2B environmentsStrong analytical skills with experience in Google Analytics 4, Data Studio/Looker Studio, and Excel/Google SheetsDeep knowledge of search intent, Quality Score factors, bidding algorithms, and attribution modelingExperience in [Industry – e.g., manufacturing, industrial, B2B services, e-commerce, etc.]Experience with Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, or other paid channelsFamiliarity with SEO, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and marketing automation toolsExperience managing agency relationships or in-house teamsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)Company OverviewAt Xecutive Recruitment, we connect xceptional talent to xtraodinary careers.
