The Scrum Master is responsible for ensuring that Agile frameworks are understood and enacted, coaching teams in modern product development practices, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Responsibilities • Ensure Agile frameworks (like Scrum, Kanban, LeSS) are fully understood, implemented, and utilized to promote agility. • Ensure the team and organization adhere to the Agile Manifesto values and the twelve principles therein, along with the five Scrum values (Focus, Courage, Openness, Commitment, and Respect). • Act as a facilitator, trainer, coach, and mentor to help employees, teams, and stakeholders understand and implement modern product development practices. • Be prepared to fill various roles based on organizational needs, including Scrum Master, Team Coach, and Enterprise Coach. • Seek to continuously improve personal skills, team effectiveness, and the organization’s understanding of Agile. Measure progress using learning milestones. • Support the five elements of a learning organization: personal mastery, mental models, shared vision, team learning, and systems thinking. • Utilize AI tools in the software development lifecycle to improve quality and efficiency. Skills • 3+ years of Product and IT experience. • 2+ years in the role of Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile Coach. • 1+ years of experience applying multiple agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, LeSS). • 1+ years of experience working on large-scale, multiple Scrum team projects. • Certification: Active SCRUM Master Certification. • Technical Skills: Experience leveraging AI tools in the software development lifecycle. • Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; superior speaking, facilitating, and resolution skills. • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. • Certifications: Scaling of Scrum Certification(s). • Domain Expertise: Healthcare experience. • Process Knowledge: Experience with developing DevOps practices and culture.
